How the Anchr AI Collective brings AI inspiration into practice
It was a day to share AI inspiration, practical insights and real-life use cases, bringing together company directors, CTOs and AI ambassadors from across our companies.
As part of the Anchr AI Collective, this event showed what happens when our companies come together around one shared ambition: turning AI from inspiration into impact.
From AI ambition to practical implementation
The afternoon opened with a session by Tim Goedeweeck - Strategic Advisor & Investor - and Bart Smeets - Co-Founder of Dataroots - on AI maturity at Anchr & implementing AI in practice.
Together, they explored what it takes to move from AI ambition to practical implementation. They reflected on where the Anchr companies stand today in their AI journey, the steps needed to grow further and the opportunities AI can unlock across the group.
Keynotes that challenged and inspired
We welcomed two external keynote speakers who brought fresh perspectives on AI and its role in the future of software companies.
A quick AI update and a deep dive into Agentic AI
Toon Lybaert - Strategic advisor, entrepreneur and AI educator - gave a sharp update on the latest evolutions in AI and took the group into the world of Agentic AI, supported by two concrete client cases.
Make AI work the way you do
Building your own intelligence layer
Vince Buyssens - Senior Creative Technologist at Loop Earplugs - shared how teams can think with AI, rather than simply use it. He showed how Loop Earplugs is building its own intelligence layer and why companies should start shaping that layer themselves.
Real AI use cases from our companies
Each Anchr company brought one concrete AI use case to the stage, showing how AI is already being explored and applied in different domains, products and ways of working.
From internal efficiency and smarter workflows to product innovation and customer impact, the use cases made AI tangible and practical.
This also created valuable opportunities to learn from each other, ask questions and discover where collaboration across companies could make ideas stronger.

Time to network
After the formal programme, the discussions continued during the drinks reception and dinner.
A lovely way to round off the day, getting to know each other even better, exchanging ideas and exploring how knowledge can be easily shared within the group.
Moving forward and growing together
This first edition showed the strength of the Anchr ecosystem: autonomous software companies, each with their own expertise, coming together to learn, challenge and inspire each other.
AI is moving fast. By connecting our companies through initiatives like Anchr AI Collective, we help them move faster, smarter and more sustainably.
