Thanks to the new mobile checkout system, developed in collaboration with Anchr, every Collect&Go employee can quickly and easily settle transactions with customers at the Collect&Go pickup point.
Collect&Go, the online grocery service of Colruyt Group, aims to make grocery shopping easier for its customers. Because the new mobile checkout system, developed in collaboration with Anchr, is being installed on every task device of every employee, more flexibility can be introduced at the Collect&Go pickup point. This way, more customers can be assisted simultaneously, leading to efficiency and time savings, and peak moments can be better managed.
In addition to making grocery shopping easier for customers, this digital checkout system also results in a significant paper saving of 16 tons per year. Collect&Go customers receive their receipt digitally. The receipt is forwarded via email to our customers, even before they leave the pickup point.
Promotion Engine of Retail Cloud Suite
To further enhance the shopping experience of customers, Anchr's Retail Cloud Suite has developed a promotion engine linked to this new checkout system, so that Collect&Go customers no longer need to present their Xtra-card at the pickup point to receive discounts. Through this intelligent tool, discounts are already applied at the time of placing the order on the website. Customers can complete their order using Bancontact, electronic meal vouchers, or their Xtra-card.
