Willebroek Office: the end of a chapter, the beginning of something new
Some places quietly grow along with your story. The headquarters in Willebroek is one such place. For years, it was a fixed base where teams built together, met deadlines, celebrated successes, and supported each other through changes. Soon, we will close the door behind us for the last time.

Willebroek: the end of a chapter
The office in Willebroek was for many years the place where we gathered, where hard work was done, and where you found your way in a group that continued to evolve. It is a place where you started your first day at work, where you grew in your role, where you laughed together at the coffee machine, and where major changes took shape.
To this day, Anchr and AXI shared the same headquarters in Willebroek. Now that we are each heading towards a new home base, we would like to take a moment to reflect on what the office in Willebroek meant to us. And most importantly: to close that chapter together.
Willebroek at a glance
Our story begins over 41 years ago, when AXI laid a solid foundation as a reliable partner for software and IT services for businesses and governments. Since 1998, Willebroek has been the beating heart of that story. Many colleagues came and went, teams changed, but this office remained the permanent home base for many years.
Growth and change: the key transformations
The past years have been marked by significant progress. In October 2023, the AXI group was split into two separate entities:
AXI Software, focusing on software and solutions for retail, government, healthcare, service, and industry.
AXI Digital, focusing on digital transformation and IT infrastructure and managed services (cloud, networking, security, digital workplace, and more).
In November 2024, AXI Software was renamed: Anchr. This marked the start of further development of a House of Software Companies, with innovation and entrepreneurship at its core.
Time for a farewell party
And so the head office in Willebroek deserves a proper farewell. On Friday 30 January 2026, we closed this chapter with a real farewell party. A final chance to enjoy together with AXI- and Anchr-colleagues, with a snack, a drink, and a dance.

This moment marks the end of a period that for many feels like 'our office'. A place where hard work was done, friendships were formed, and memories linger.
The start of something new
With new locations and new stories, Anchr and AXI continue doing what they excel at: building strong teams, reliable solutions, and a forward-looking direction. The office in Willebroek was an important foundation. Now it’s time for the next step.
We will keep collaborating where relevant, but soon each organisation will operate from its own headquarters. Both of us are choosing Mechelen as our new city.
AXI will move to the new office in Mechelen at the beginning of February. Anchr will follow around mid-March to its new location. We will communicate the specific practical details later.
