First edition of Anchr (formerly AXI Software) Summer Feeling is a hit
Radio and rescuers ensure a warm welcome
It all started in the car heading towards Perry’s Beachclub, those on the way could listen to the best tracks and follow the happenings on the beach via the radio, which was broadcast live from the beach. None other than Christophe Stienlet, better known as Bartje from Schuif Af, seamlessly introduced the records. There’s nothing better to already get into the mood!
At 11am, the lifeguards were ready to officially open the doors of Summer Feeling. The lifeguards had a very special task: to guide everyone to the fun activities that were planned. And there were quite a few of them.
Activities for young and 'old'
The little ones didn't know where to look first. They could enjoy a specially arranged children's village with face painting, a bouncy castle, giant bubble makers and airbrush tattoos. On the beach, participants could take part in various beach games, while at the water, there were opportunities for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, and there was even a bumper football field.
Those who wanted something a bit ‘more extreme’ could take the little train towards Natural High Beach 2 kilometres away. There, an initiation into powerkiting and blow karting was organised. And some staff members had the chance to win the VIP Experience: going out on the water in a speedboat to spot seals, wow!
Not going home hungry
In addition to all these fun activities, the attendees were also well taken care of on the culinary level. A delicious lunch was provided with sandwiches and poké bowls, and in between, they could also enjoy nachos, bitterballen, poffertjes, and even homemade lobster rolls.
Ijsko Ali also came by to cool the kids down with his ice cream act.
To conclude, there was a lovely BBQ. This was festively opened with giant balloons that let our pay-off flutter in the air: Get it right.
Happy faces and a pleasant gathering
“If you ask me, the Family Day was a great success; we saw countless happy faces and experienced unforgettable moments. It was the perfect opportunity to meet colleagues and their families in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy a lovely day at the North Sea beach,” concluded Sally Bal, HR Director at AXI Digital, during the radio presentation with Christophe Stienlet, marking the end of our first Family Day.
