In 2015, Nimbl (then known as Ground lion) was founded in Ghent. As an ambitious start-up, the company focused on building a state-of-the-art case management solution. With an emphasis on innovation and open architecture, the 'new' organisation quickly managed to carve out a place for itself in the IT sector.
After several years of growth, Ground Lion joined IT group AXI in 2018. Thanks to this acquisition, they became an important player in the Flemish government for automating file management. Ground lion was then renamed to AXI Adaptive Case Management.
In 2024, a strategic repositioning was implemented at AXI Group. AXI Software became Anchr, and AXI Adaptive Case Management was renamed Nimbl case management. With a fresh identity and a sharp focus on its mission, this solution is set for a successful future ahead.
Nimble is an English word and means: "quick and light in movement or action; agile, flexible, clever, skilful".
The new name and logo perfectly reflect what the experienced software solution stands for: agility, efficiency, and the ability to smoothly automate complex processes.
