Anchr finds a new home in Het Zegel
A new base of operations for Anchr
From 21 April 2026, Anchr will move to Het Zegel in Mechelen. A new place, a new chapter, and above all, an environment that fully reflects the way we work together today.
Het Zegel will become Anchr’s new headquarters. The teams of Anchr Holding will have their permanent home base there, ranging from management and finance to HR & recruitment, marketing & communication, legal and M&A.
This makes Het Zegel a place where collaboration, knowledge sharing and connection come together.
Compact, thoughtful and fit for today
The new location is slightly more compact, but that is exactly why it was chosen so deliberately. With employees now working from the office an average of 2 days per week, Het Zegel is the ideal place to collaborate efficiently, exchange ideas and connect more easily.
With this move, Anchr is not simply choosing a new office. We are choosing a place where people enjoy coming together, where companies within our group strengthen one another, and where new ideas have room to grow.
Sustainably renovated with respect for heritage
Het Zegel is more than just a new office location. It is a historic building that has been given a new future through a thoughtful and sustainable renovation.
The redevelopment combines respect for the site’s heritage with modern comfort and sustainable techniques. The building has been upgraded with fossil-free heating and cooling through heat pumps and underfloor heating. Its thick walls help maintain a naturally stable indoor climate, which also supports energy efficiency. The roof was renewed and insulated, the façades were thoroughly restored, and wherever replacement was needed, durable and low-maintenance materials were chosen in keeping with the character of the building.
This careful balance between old and new makes Het Zegel an inspiring workplace that is ready for the future.
Easy to reach on foot, by bike or by public transport
Its location also makes Het Zegel a logical choice. Mechelen is a vibrant city and the office is within walking distance of the train station. This allows us to actively encourage the use of public transport.
In addition, cycling is also a fully-fledged option. Mechelen is a true cycling hub, making Het Zegel especially accessible for colleagues and visitors who prefer to come by bike. Those who do travel by car can use the nearby NMBS car park.
New address, same trusted way of working
With this move, our official address is also changing. As of 21 April 2026, both our visiting and invoicing address will be: Vaartdijk 90, 2800 Mechelen. Our VAT number remains unchanged.
A workplace designed to feel right
For the interior of the new office, Anchr worked with Cobras. Together, we created an environment where everything feels right, from colours and atmosphere to workspaces and meeting areas.
Every detail, from lighting to seating comfort, was carefully considered to make Het Zegel a warm, pleasant and inspiring place to work.
