Strengthening software portfolio in the retail sector

Anchr will further focus on the growth and expansion of its software solutions and cloud services in the coming years. With the acquisition of Tilroy, we are reinforcing those plans,’ says Paul Peeters, CEO of AXI Digital. ‘With Tilroy's advanced online cash register and e-commerce software solutions, Anchr (formerly AXI Software) enhances its extensive cloud-based product portfolio for retailers.’

‘Moreover, we are also expanding the scope with this acquisition. We can provide a very broad range of retailers with a 100% integrated solution.’

Scaling and internationalisation

‘Tilroy has primarily been active in the Belgian market until now,’ says Peter De Ranter, CEO and founder of Tilroy. ‘Anchr has established a strong presence in both Belgium and the Netherlands and also harbours ambitions beyond. Anchr complements Tilroy both geographically and in terms of product and is the ideal partner for us to accelerate our growth.’

Strengthening market position and sustaining growth

Strada Partners strongly believes in an active policy regarding acquisitions that can provide concrete added value for Anchr. 'With this first acquisition, since our entry at the end of last year, we are reinforcing Anchr’s position as a provider of specialised B2B software. Moreover, we are becoming the leading provider of retail software in the Benelux', says Matthias Vandepitte, Managing Partner at Strada Partners.

Continuity for customers and employees

Anchr sees the number of employees rise to over 450 as a result of the acquisition. ‘We want to safeguard the identity of Tilroy and ensure continuity for customers and employees', says Paul Peeters. ‘The extensive expertise present in both organisations creates a perfect match. Through this cross-pollination, we will strengthen each other.’
